How it works
The SIF Registry is a web-based platform designed to simplify the process for eligible Social Innovation Fund (“SIF”) intermediaries and subgrantees to obtain matching funds from foundations. Developed by the Social Impact Exchange (the “Exchange”), a national non-profit organization based in New York, the SIF Registry aggregates information on eligible SIF subgrantees and intermediaries on a secure site which is made available to participating foundations. Funders can quickly search for subgrantees that meet the foundations’ grantmaking criteria, including filtering by SIF location, focus area, tags, and search terms. Participating foundations also have the ability to share comments on the site with other foundation users to facilitate collaborative funding opportunities. The SIF Registry is open only to foundations. There is no charge for participating in the SIF Registry. Please note that participating foundations make grants off-line and each foundation maintains its own decision-making authority and process.
Grantmaking foundations may register for access by clicking “Create an Account Now.” Once approved you will receive login instructions
